THOMAS VAN AQUINO KERK EVICTED
After almost two years of squatting the Thomas of Aquino Kerk in Amsterdam was evicted in October 2003. Immediately afterwards, this unique building was teared down.
In the two years of squatting a free space was created that brought togehter activists, squatters, painters, musicans, video-artists, photographers, sculpturers, poets, cooks, philosophers and all other kinds of free people from all over.
